Hi guys!!

Firstly, I’d like to thank you for all your support, I really do appreciate it; you are all wonderful.

So, down to the business of the day; I was just remembering how whenever I want to do a new hairstyle, I look for pictures of the style I have in mind; I like having an end game, not just winging it plus nigerian stylists usually need guidance when they do your hair.
If you feel brave and you don’t guide most stylists, you will leave the salon with a different hair style than the one you planned to leave with and then all the stylists in the salon will all, chorus “oh wow Aunty, your hair is so fine o, you look like “Bayonsi” (BeyoncΓ© ), me sef I want to do” no matter how ugly the hair is.

This is the reason for this weavespiration (weave inspiration… Don’t lie, it’s a nice new word hehehe) Wednesday article. I came across a picture of a fantastic weave-on style and I just had to share; just incase you can’t decide on their next hair style or you need a picture to guide your stylist aright.

imageIsn’t it lovely?! And the best part is, she used a lace closure!!! I think the secret to getting an “invisible” closure fitting is placing the beginning of the closure about half or three-quarters of an inch behind the natural hair. The natural hair would have to be very neatly partitioned so the parting will blend in with the closure and make it look like the closure’s parting is just the continuation of the natural hair parting.

I’ll do some research on this and let you know my findings πŸ™‚ I hope this article has been helpful and has weavespired you (hehe, yes I’m going all out with “weavespiration”).

Please feel free to share your thoughts and comments. Am I the only one that looks for pictures of hairstyles when i want to get my hair done? (I hope I’m not, lol). Until next time, stay glam πŸ™‚

  1. Yep I’m the type to play a YouTube tutorial video to guide hair stylists step by step.

  2. Omg I thought I was alone. I take so many pictures to the salon. The last time I showed the lady a couple of videos too!
I’d really be interested in your findings about lace closures because edges!

  3. I love this look. There is another one, I am inspired by this look with shaved hair by the sides, natural hair in the middle, a cornrow to cover the tracks of the weave sewn to the person’s hair. I feel it is perfect like the picture above. Honey I know you are not the only one that looks for pictures to get hairstyles, I search.
