Hi everyone, it’s another beautiful Friday so it’s DIY tips day. Here are 3 great hair and makeup tips.

1. To get longer lasting waves in your hair, braid  your hair and go over the braided strands with a hair straightener. We all know braiding hair leaves waves in our hair but to make these waves last longer so you can wear your “braid waves” as a style, use the heat from a straightener to set the waves.

personally, I’m more of a curl person but we all have times we forget to roll our hair at night or are too tired to do anything to prep our hair for the next day; if you do, this is a great way to get immediate texture in your hair.

2. To get the neatest winged eyeliner look, draw the outline of the wing first and then fill it out. I remember posting a tip about using a spoon to draw your winged liner so I think the best way to combine these two tips is to use the handle of the spoon to trace the outer part of the wing for that perfect straight line. Once that’s done, I’m pretty sure lining the inner part of the wing will be easy to do by hand or you can still use the curve of the spoon to trace it out as shown in that post.

3. To whiten your teeth, you can rub the inside of a banana peel on your teeth for about 2 minutes and the minerals like potassium, manganese and magnesium will whiten your teeth. I’m quite curious about this one, I’ll definitely try it out.

Well these are our tips for you beautiful ladies this week; I hope you like them 🙂

oh yeah, remember that tip I posted about drawing an “x” with your lip liner to make your Cupid’s bow look great, well here’s a picture of my lips when I did it.

yay or nay? I think yay … It has made lining my lips so much easier to be honest.

comments, suggestions (on what you’d like us to post about, how to improve the blog for you, this post, anything at all) are more than welcome. Let’s know what happens when you try any of the tips you read here; you can send in pictures of the results as well. Until next time, stay glam. Xo
